Product Overview:
As a protocol converter from TCP/IP to RS-232/422/485, UT-620 10/100M TCP/IP network converter is able to achieve the transparent conversion from TCP/IP network into serial port signals of RS-232/422/485. With 10/100M Ethernet interface upwards and 1 standard RS-232/ RS-485/RS-422 serial port downwards, UT-620 supports both dynamic IP and static IP, gateway and proxy server with built-in protocols including ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, SOCK5, HTTP, etc. 3 working modes are available with UT-620:

1. As a TCP server, the converter listens to the connection request from platform Applications at designated TCP ports.
2. As a TCP client, the converter sends out connection request to platform applications in a regular manner.
3. Automatic mode: Under this mode, the converter shall shift itself automatically From a TCP server mode to TCP client mode whenever signals from serial ports are Received, then the converter send connection request to platform applications for Data transmission to the platform, after which the converter shall be shifted back To TCP server mode.
